A Second That Changed the Meaning of Life
When I was a child, my mother used to do something that I did not fully understand at that time. She would often visit orphanages, blind schools, or shelters for animals. I remember her carrying bananas to feed the monkeys and wheat flour to give to cows. She would go with a smile and spend time doing small, small works for people who needed help. Many times, she asked me to come with her, but as a child I went only a few times. I never understood why she did it with so much love and why she never expected anything in return.
A Second That Changed the Meaning of Life
As I grew older, I was busy with studies and later with business. Life became about targets, dreams, and achievements. When I started Maser Group, it was just a small idea, and I had no clue that one day it would become so big in Africa. The journey was very tough, but Africa gave me love and support. With time, Maser became a strong company and reached a significant milestone.
It was during this phase that one second changed the meaning of my life. I had just closed an important deal, and people around me were celebrating. But in that moment of joy, my mind went silent. I asked myself: What is all this success worth if I cannot share it? What difference will it make if my story ends here without giving back?
That question hit me harder than anything before. In that single second, my thinking shifted. I suddenly remembered my mother’s actions—her quiet way of helping, her kindness to people and animals, her belief that no work is too small when it comes to serving others. I realised that she had shown me the real meaning of life long ago, but I had only now understood it. That was the reason my thinking changed: because success without service felt empty, and giving back felt like the only way to make my journey complete.
This is how the idea of Maser Foundation was born.
Maser Foundation is my way of honoring my mother’s values and continuing the journey she started long ago. Our focus is on three main areas—healthcare, child education, and women empowerment.
- Healthcare: We aim to support medical facilities, provide treatment to those who cannot afford it, and bring awareness about preventive care.
- Child Education: We want to help children who do not have access to schools, books, or opportunities. Education is the strongest way to break the cycle of poverty.
- Women Empowerment: We want to create platforms and programs that help women stand on their feet, build skills, and create independent futures.
For me, Maser Foundation is not only about charity—it is about responsibility. It is about remembering that every success comes with a duty to share and uplift. It is about using resources and networks to create lasting impact, not just for today but for future generations.
That one second, when my heart questioned the meaning of my journey, gave me a new direction in life. I realized that true success is not only measured in business numbers but also in how many lives we touch, how many smiles we bring, and how much hope we create.
This is the beginning of a new journey. Maser Foundation will walk the path of giving back with the same spirit that my mother showed me in my childhood.
Every Child Deserves a Better Future!
At Maser Foundation, we believe that every child should have the right to learn, grow, and dream without limits. Yet millions of children in Africa are held back by poverty, lack of education, and poor healthcare.
Through our programs in child education, healthcare, and women empowerment, we are working to change this story. Together, we can give children the opportunities they deserve and build a brighter tomorrow.
